Six Flags

Today was a great day!  We went to Six Flags over Georgia!  This was my first trip to Six Flags and I had the best time.   There was so much to do and so little time.  I met some of the characters and they were so nice.  I even got to take a picture with them.

I rode a roller-coaster for my first time today. We started with the tallest roller-coaster in the park, Goliath.  Goliath is 200 feet tall and covers 8.5-acres.  As we started to get in line, I knew something was wrong immediately.  They had this big tall sign that said you must be at least 54” tall to ride Goliath and I am only 22” tall.  I was determined to find a way to ride this roller-coaster.  My mom said she would stay with me so everyone else could ride.  Then my dad had the best idea ever!  He said he could put me in his shorts pocket and buckle me in safe so I could ride.  What a smart guy!  I rode in my dad’s pocket on every roller-coaster in the park and it was AWESOME!

ICEE!!!!

I have something I need to admit to you all.  They say the first step is to recognize you have a problem.  So I am here to tell you I have a problem.  I am addicted to ICEES!  They are the most amazing thing that has ever been invented.  It is a rush of adrenaline when I pass by a gas station with that bear sign.  I cannot tell you how good it feels to just stop in and get me an Icee.  I like every flavor cherry, coke, and blue raspberry!

This addiction is out of control!  I know where every Icee machine is within a twenty mile radius of my house.  I am working on an app for the Iphone to help me locate the nearest Icee machine at anytime.  My mom and dad only feed the habit (I think they are more addicted then me.)  We get two to three Icees a weekend!  Well I have taken the first step and admitted I have a problem, but I will not stop drinking Icees!

Lowe's Kids Clinic is so COOL!

One of my favorite stores in the world is Lowe's.  We go to Lowe's at least twice every weekend.  Lowe's is three minutes from my house so we do a lot of home projects.  My favorite thing to do on Saturday morning is to see what my dad is working on.  Last week he worked on making the game corn hole.  I never know what he will be doing next.

Today I jumped out of bed and ran to the garage to be my dad’s work helper.  I am a great helper!    When I entered the garage my dad told me we were going to Lowe's (no surprise)  for “Kid’s Clinic.”  This was new for me; I had never heard of “Kid’s Clinic.”  I was so excited!  Dad told me “Kid’s Clinic” is a workshop that Lowe's puts on for FREE for any child.   At each workshop kids will build something.  At the Lowe's in Fultondale they have a workshop every other Saturday at 10 AM.  When we got to the workshop dad helped me to put together my project, and we had so much fun.  I would recommend this activity for any child.

BOOKS!!!

My favorite thing to collect is books!  I just love to read.  I enjoy reading everything cereal boxes, the newspaper, and even books.  I started my collection as soon as I was adopted.  I have been collecting for two years now.  I get my books from everywhere!  People even give me their unwanted books (I still do not know what makes a book unwanted.)

I have so many favorite books.  There are a few I want to tell you about.  One is titled Frindle and Andrew Clements is the author.  This book is a must read.  I just know you will love it.  Another book I enjoy is You are Special by Max Lucado.  This book is so special to me because my parents read it to me almost every night.  I never get tired of hearing this story.  Do you have a favorite book?  Please share I love to find new great books.

Texas roadhouse! It is so GOOD!

I went to Texas roadhouse tonight in Pelham.  It was such a pretty night we wanted to be out of the house.  I love a good steak!  At Texas roadhouse you can pick out your own steak before they even grille it.  They have tons of options and they all look so good.  I can never decide what I want because I enjoy everything at this restaurant.  They have the best yeast rolls that are complimentary, so you can eat all you want!

On Monday nights kids can eat free at Texas roadhouse.   My parents were so happy when the waiter told them about me getting my dinner free, so they called some family friends to come eat dinner with us.  They have a son named Jeremy, and he is my best friend.  Jeremy is a lot of fun to be around.   After I finished eating I thought I would never eat again.  I was so full!  So my advice to you is to make sure you go hungry if you eat at Texas roadhouse.
